"I had a flu after about a month after I shared the same drink with an infected friend. But at the time we shared the drink, I didn't know her HIV status. The flu last about 3-4 days. I recovered from it after taking flu medicine and antibiotics. Two weeks later I had a sore throat because I shout when I sing. I don't have nausea, headache, swollen lymph nodes, diarrhea but one of the HIV symptoms is flu like illness after exposure within one month. Is it coincident or am I just paranoid. Or was I really infected?"
