Russian HIV Crisis
Russian officials have announced that it is their belief that 50% of all Russian citizens could be HIV infected within the next 10 years. Statistics show that there are currently about 80,000 confirmed HIV cases in Russia. It's estimated that it will cost $70 million dollars to treat the disease. To date, only $3 million dollars has been allocated for HIV related treatment.
