Nucleoside Reverse Transcriptase Inhibitors (NRTIs) work by being incorporated into the viral DNA, making it ineffective.

• Epzicom (Abacavir + Epivir)

Important Warning! - Please note that this class of drugs has been associated with mitochondrial toxicity resulting in serious conditions such as Lactic Acidosis.
