Cholesterol Lowering DrugForm:
- 20mg and 40mg capsules
Dosage:
- 20mg to 40mg at bedtime to start, not to exceed 40mg twice per day
Instructions:
- Take once a day dose at bedtime. Take twice a day dose 12 hours apart.
Side Effects To Report To Your Doctor:
- Constipation
- Diarrhea
- Fatigue
- Gas
- Heartburn
- Headache
- Muscle, joint and back pain
Drug Interactions or Incompatibility:
- Use with caution in patients with kidney disease.
- Should be used with caution in people with liver disease or if used in conjunction with alcohol.
