About's HIV/AIDS site provides a vast collection of educational resources. What it doesn't contain is a memorial to those who have lost their battle with HIV and AIDS. I plan to change that with the HIV/AIDS Memorial.

Over a half million visitors come to About's HIV/AIDS site each month. What a better way to remember those who fought bravely against this disease than to created a memorial here for the world to see. My plans include a picture and a bio of each person, displayed on the pages of this site as a tribute to their fight. We can't forget those who struggled before us. This memorial will make sure the world does not.

I need all of your help. And getting involved is simple. If you have a loved one who you wish to memorialize here, send a short bio and a picture to my email address at aids.guide@about.com. This will only work with your help. Spread the word.
