Classification:
A medication used to treat TB and to decrease risk of acquiring a TB infection (prophylaxis).
Form:
100mg and 400mg tablets
Instructions:
Can be taken with or without food. Notify your doctor of all medications being taken prior to starting Myambutol.
Side Effects to Report to Your Doctor:
  • Fever
  • Decreased vision
  • Nausea/vomiting
  • Joint pain
  • Headache, dizziness
  • Skin changes
  • Numbness or in extremities (peripheral neuropathy)
