Definition:
A sexually transmitted disease caused by the Human papillomavirus. A lesion comprised of connective tissue in a treelike structure. They usually occur on the mucous membrane or skin of the external genitals (vagina or penis) or in the perianal (tissue surrounding the anus) region. Although the lesions are usually few in number, they may aggregate to form a large cauliflower-like mass.
