- the longer the bleach remains in the syringe the more viral particles are killed
- when squirting out the bleach, never direct the syringe toward someone else
- never reuse bleach

Refill syringe with undiluted household bleach. Let the bleach stand in the syringe for at least 30 seconds but preferably longer. Squirt out the bleach and discard.
