Viracept 625mg tablet

Classification:

Protease Inhibitor (PI)

Form:

  • 250mg tablet (blue; oval)
  • 625mg tablet (white; oval)
  • 50mg/g powder for reconstitution

Dosage:

  • Five 250mg tablets twice each day.
  • Two 625mg tablets twice each day.

Viracept can also be taken as three 250mg tablets three times each day but to simplify regimens, it is almost always prescribed in one of its twice daily dosages.

Instructions:

Take with a meal or a light snack.

Side Effects To Report To Your Doctor:

Most everyone will have diarrhea when taking Viracept. Over the counter antidiarrheals as well as prescriptions medications can be used to diminish the diarrhea symptoms.
